I’m Jeff Parker — a former culinary media producer who spent 20+ years developing recipes, styling food, and running productions for national brands and broadcast networks. I also founded and operated Fresh Start Market, one of the nation’s first health-focused café concepts. When I transitioned into bookkeeping, I brought the same skills: managing multiple moving parts, meeting deadlines, and paying close attention to every detail.
I founded Parker Bookkeeping to offer something different — personalized, judgment-free support using QuickBooks Online, built around how your business actually works. My systems are designed to be clear, low-pressure, and straightforward — because executive function shouldn’t have to work overtime just to keep your books in order. No overwhelm, no shame.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me in San Diego — at the beach, hiking, hanging with Hank, or having coffee with friends.
Hank is our five-year-old French bulldog, emotional support animal, and full-time nap enthusiast.
He takes his job very seriously — making surprise video call cameos, monitoring snack consumption, and enforcing mandatory stretch breaks throughout the day. You’ll often hear his signature snores or grumbly chatter in the background — consider it moral support.
While he doesn’t handle any bookkeeping (yet), Hank’s real talent is reminding us to slow down, breathe, and approach things with a little more patience — including our finances.
